Well, I must admit I haven't seen Barton Fink, but O Brother Where Art Thou? is one of my all time favourite films and should be at number one on the list!
Second and third places for Raising Arizona and Fargo respectively seems very generous... The Huducker Proxy should be higher, and O Brother Where Art Thou and The Big Lebowski should be jostling for the top spots.
I'd argue for OBWAT? too. But then I've not seen all the Coen brothers films, which is my own stupid fault.
Now you can add No Country for Old Men to the list, it's a good'un
I agree it possibly needs some reconsideration for Miller's Crossing and probably No Country. But I'm afraid I can't put OBWAT? in my Top 10 Coen films, let alone 5.
You're wrong, and you're a grotesquely ugly freak. OBWAT should totally be in the top five. Maybe you need to see it again?
1. Fargo 2. The Hudsucker Proxy 3. Miller's Crossing 4. Barton Fink 5. The Big Lebowski
I just don't like the music in OBWAT, which kind of makes the film hard to sit through (and I have done so three times in the interests of fairness) - is that any different from people who have irrational hatreds for musicals?
